What ages do you teach?
Our students range from 4 to 80+ years old — kids, teens, and adults.
Do you offer online lessons?
Yes. Piano and voice lessons are available in-person, online, or hybrid, and our music theory and music history programs run online. For online lessons, all you need is a laptop, tablet, or phone with an internet connection — we’ll guide you through the setup.
Do I need an instrument at home?
For piano lessons you need a piano or keyboard at home. If you don’t have a guitar, bass, drum set or violin yet, we’ll help you find the right instrument.
How does the free trial lesson work?
Your trial lesson is free. To reserve your spot, we ask for a $38 refundable deposit (Zelle, Venmo, or PayPal). It is returned right after your trial unless you miss the lesson without notice. Piano auditions with Director Ivan are $68 and non-refundable.
How long are lessons and how often?
Private lessons are 30, 45, or 60 minutes, once or twice a week. Students preparing for music exams need at least 45 minutes per week.
What if I need to miss a lesson?
Let us know at least 24 hours in advance (by email, text, or phone) to reschedule. You’re allowed 4 make-up lessons per school year (September–May). Late notice usually means the lesson is forfeited; see our Studio Policies for the options we may offer in emergencies.
When is tuition due?
Tuition is charged monthly, based on the number of scheduled lessons, and is due by the 7th of each month. A $15 late fee applies after the 8th. We accept Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, debit/credit cards, and checks.
Do you prepare students for music exams?
Yes — we prepare students for ABRSM, RCM, and the MTAC Certificate of Merit (CM).
Are your teachers background checked?
Yes. Teachers at Fantasia undergo background checks. Whether lessons are online or in-person, student safety and comfort are our top priorities.
